GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Waiting rooms at urgent cares, hospitals and other medical facilities are filling up throughout the country, and Wisconsin is no exception.

The rise in wait times and unavailable beds can be caused to what experts are calling a "tripledemic"; a collision of RSV, Covid-19, and flu cases.

“Our daily census is up nearly 30% from normal,” said Dr. Ryan Murphy, a BayCare Clinic emergency medicine physician. “We are getting close to 130-150 people a day coming in for swabs.”

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Ahead of Veterans Day next week, the Old Glory Honor Flight is sending another group of veterans to Washington D.C.. The trip on Wednesday will be Old Glory’s 60th mission. Since 2009, the non-profit has sent more than 5,000 veterans to DC to visit their war memorials. That flight wil include a father daughter, veteran pair, who will be celebrating service and family.

BRAs of the Bay event brings awareness to breast reconstruction options for breast cancer survivors

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — On October 21st of 1998, it became a federal law for breast reconstruction surgery to be covered by insurance companies. 24 years later and breast cancer survivors are still surprised to hear about these options.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - October will be here in a few days, which means Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On October 13, BayCare Clinic will host its 8th annual Bras of the Bay at the Resch Expo. To help raise awareness about breast reconstruction, the clinic encouraged local businesses and individuals to decorate and display a bra. The public can vote on their creations online between October 1 and October 12, and the winner will be announced at the gala.

BayCare Clinic’s bike event returns

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The 4th Annual BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore bike ride is back after a two-year hiatus.

The annual event raises proceeds for the BayCare Clinic Foundation. The nonprofits help out organizations like Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin and Golden House.

The route gives bikers a scenic route throughout the community. They also provide a variety of routes so anyone can be a part of this annual event. It offers 100, 60, 30, and 15-mile options to participa
